Session 2, review

Someone call me a cab – again!

Participants: Tones, Recharge, Anewa, Hawkeye

While Anewa, Tones and Recharge waited in the room across the hall, Hawkeye finally responded to the many messages. Hawkeye immediately caught on to the teams prime SOP – and called a cab, to get there in style. After taking position on a nearby silo everyone waited until 2100 – the end of the specified timeslot – before moving in and securing the package. The team spend 20 seconds looking for loot before moving the package to the ground floor and a long tedious wait for the returning “get-away” rental truck.

Hawkeye took out two of the guys, who had been watching the place, as they decided to bring out the shotguns. The team made a classy get away in the rental truck with Knights Errants beat cops in close pursuit.

Six hours, some take out food, and four cab switches later, the team meet with Mr. Johnson in an empty store in Bellevue.  As Mr. Johnson walked away with the package he stated “What the hell are you doing” before running of as a Knights Errant HTR team flew in.

In an epic scene filled with flight, pursuit, fear – bordering panic, astral combat, and smoke grenades everyone learned something new about themselves and their teammates. Had Hawkeye been indian, he would forever be known as “Deer in headlights” while Recharge would be known as “He who runs on one leg”. Anewa and Tones, who were in need of couples therapy earlier, showed teamwork and man-love as Anewa carried Tones of to safety – while Tones bravely charged into astral combat and popped open a can of whup-ass on a Knights Errant combat mage.

After another classy get-away in a stolen suburban family car, the team took the bus home from Redmond city hall very early Saturday morning. Without feeling too much closure The Fairlight Parts run felt over.

Saturdays are great for evaluation. After individual hot-wash-ups and tickling their individual fancies Recharge bought a car, Anewa traded his scooter for a car, Tones hit the nightlife, and Hawkeye completed his divers license learning course. Anewa looked to Rongo for guidance and increased personal enlightenment while Tones found it in the solitude of Auburns forrest.

As everyone was starting to get a little impatient Mr. Johnson(s) called Hawkeye.  The meet went down later that evening at The Place in downtown Seattle. After a fancy dinner and a hard negotiation the team took the job to find a missing South Korean girl. They immediately set the wheels in motion in the matrix and on the streets.

Notes:

• An unspecified amount of busrides, 16 specific cab rides, four stolen cars, two cars bought, and one scooter sold.
• Not everyone shares Tones love for the nightlife.
• Anewa was stricken by fear (by a spirit)
• Recharge and Hawkeye were stricken by panic (by a Knights Errant HTR team).
• Tones as stricken with brawery – while being carried to safety by Anewa.
